Veronica Phaneuf, President
I’m Veronica Phaneuf. I started About-Face Computers over twenty-five years ago in my home in Montague Center.
At the time I wanted to use my aptitude for math and technology in a way that would allow me to work in a service business while raising my young son. I have enjoyed many years of challenging rapid technical change while trying to keep our focus on Service.
Since About-Face Computer Solutions opened its store, I have been able to spend time as well on my Quickbooks / financial consulting business that developed as I worked with business customers and their technology. The need for help with Quickbooks and other business software interested me and I have been pursuing that as well over the years. I currently act as the business manager of The Greenfield Center School in Greenfield, a private, non-profit Elementary School, this along with my other pursuits.
I came to that point in life with a Bachelor in Science and experience in a diversity of jobs. I had worked in many factories and printing companies in my high school and college years. I spent five years in a management position for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and worked as a Librarian in Montague Center for several years. Montague has been my home since 1986 and I am proud of our town and its growth over the years. As a Town Meeting member for many years, I’ve been able to keep involved in town business and activities. I currently serve on the board of MCTV and have served on the Boards of the Montague Reporter and The Brick House as well.
Having the store in Turners Falls feels like the right place. With the addition of Brian Faldasz as my business partner the move to Avenue A was a great transition. We’ve been available to serve more of the community and are seeing new customers from Montague and surrounding towns regularly. I am hoping to continue serving the many towns in Franklin County for years to come.
